Can this plaque be blessed?

Yes. Like all sacramentals, this plaque can be blessed by any Catholic priest or deacon after you receive it. Most parishes will bless devotional items after Mass at no cost — bring it with you and ask. The Book of Blessings includes a specific blessing for images of the Blessed Virgin Mary that your priest can use. The plaque ships unblessed, as Church teaching requires that sacramentals not be sold in a blessed state.

Will my plaque look exactly like the photo?

The Guadalupe image and pewter frame are consistent across all pieces. The arrangement, color, and variety of pressed flowers will vary because each plaque is unique — the flowers are placed individually by hand.

How long do the pressed flowers last?

When kept away from direct sunlight and high heat, the resin-sealed flowers retain their color for 15+ years. We have customers with pieces purchased in the early 2000s that still look new.

Can I hang this outdoors?

We don't recommend it. The resin can yellow with prolonged UV exposure, and changes in humidity can affect the seal over time. Indoor use only.
